§ 01 · Audience

Who this page is for.

London-based counsel and in-house teams needing a forensic-led eDiscovery partner with on-site capability, familiarity with the local courts and tribunals, and the ability to work under the confidentiality regimes London matters typically impose.

  • City & Canary Wharf firms

Litigation and investigations practices needing responsive on-site attendance.

  • In-house teams

FTSE and financial services legal teams headquartered in London.

  • Chambers

Barristers preparing for interlocutory hearings or trial in the London courts.

  • Regulators & public bodies

London-based statutory bodies requiring independent evidence handling.

§ 02 · The problem

Why London matters are different.

Volume, sensitivity and speed. London matters concentrate more data, more scrutiny and more deadline pressure than most, which is why the collection and review approach has to be right the first time.

Risk
Concentrated custodian populations

A single trading floor or partnership can put hundreds of custodians in scope. Search-term and repository scoping needs to be sampled, not assumed.

Risk
Sensitivity and confidentiality rings

Regulated matters routinely impose confidentiality regimes that constrain who can see what - the review environment has to enforce it.

Risk
Overnight and weekend cadence

London timetables assume the work continues out of hours. Collection, processing and review workflows have to run on that cadence.

Risk
Cross-border complications

London counsel routinely coordinate US, EU and Middle East disclosure. Data transfer risk and blocking statutes need to be planned for at scope, not discovered mid-review.

§ 07 · Frequently asked

Answers to the questions counsel ask most.

Do you attend on-site in the City and Canary Wharf?
Yes. Our forensic examiners routinely attend law firms, corporate offices and data centres across the City, Canary Wharf, Midtown, the West End and Greater London for supervised or covert collection. Same-day attendance is available for urgent matters.
Can you support London-seated arbitration and Commercial Court work?
Yes. We work regularly on matters seated at the LCIA, ICC and in the Commercial Court and Business and Property Courts. Disclosure and evidence handling is tailored to the seat's procedural rules and to any confidentiality regime the tribunal has imposed.
Where is data hosted for London matters?
By default, on UK data-residency infrastructure with encryption, MFA and audited access. For matters that require London-only handling we can also constrain reviewer geography and access windows in Relativity.
Do you offer reviewer space in London?
We arrange secure review rooms in central London through our network when a matter requires in-person, walled-off review - for example, second-request work, privilege review or reviews under a confidentiality ring.
How fast can you mobilise in London?
For urgent London instructions we mobilise within hours, including out of hours. Suspected data theft by a departing employee, a search order to be executed, or a regulator deadline that lands late in the day are typical triggers.
Which London-based sectors do you work with most?
Financial services (banks, asset managers, insurers), law firms and chambers, professional services, technology, energy trading, life sciences and public bodies headquartered in the capital.
Do you handle mobile device collection at the office?
Yes. We deploy Cellebrite, GrayKey and AXIOM tooling on-site so a device can be imaged in a meeting room without leaving the building, then returned to the custodian the same day.
Are you available for weekend and out-of-hours work?
Yes. Weekend and evening collections are common for matters where operational disruption must be minimised. Rates and cover are agreed in advance.
