Instruct the practice.
For solicitors and in-house counsel ready to scope a matter. Share only what is safe over an unencrypted channel — we will open a secure route for anything sensitive on response.
Questions about instructing us.
What to include, how we scope a matter, and how confidentiality is protected.
We need your firm or organisation, a contact name and email, the type of matter, urgency, estimated data volume, number of custodians, and at least one data source. A brief description of the issues and any known parties for conflict checking are also helpful. Everything else can be discussed once we respond.
The form lists the most common sources we encounter: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, mobile devices, chat apps, Teams/Slack, laptops, cloud storage, servers, forensic images, and paper. Select those that apply, and we will scope the collection method, chain of custody, and processing workflow in the next step.
Choose the 'Unknown / to be scoped' option for data volume and 'Not yet known' for custodians. The form is designed to capture as much as you currently know, even if that is only the matter type and deadline. We will fill in the rest during a scoping call.
Instructions are received in confidence and reviewed only by our engagement team. We run conflict checks before accepting any matter and will not act against an existing client. For sensitive detail we will move you to an encrypted channel once we have confirmed we can act.
You will receive an acknowledgement within one working day. We then run a conflict check, open a secure communication channel, arrange a scoping call, and provide a written proposal with fixed-fee or capped pricing where possible.
No. This form is for initial instructions only. Please keep descriptions high-level and do not attach privileged or sensitive documents. We will provide a secure upload route once we have confirmed we can act and cleared conflicts.
